Vortigern is king of the Cantii (Kent) fending off rivalries for land.  He seeks out mercenaries from abroad to help him.  These mercenaries are Angles, Saxons and Jutes.  One of the Jutes comes into conflict with one member of the Cantii, Callum a fletcher.  Soon afterwards the mercenaries turn against Vortigern and the Anglo-Saxon Invasion of Britain begins.
